In a time when musical history is all but forgotten, lost in the swirling abyss of the internet, and music is judged by the entrepreneurial abilities of its practitioners rather than by the quality and inventiveness of the music itself, Skyggerige (Danish for "Shadow Realm") enters the scene. Four of the most courageous and brutally honest saxophone players of the New York underground emerge from the shadows, banding together to fight the rotting evils of the world we live in. Though they play similar instruments, each has their own unique vocabulary and antidote for the blight plaguing the world of sounds; together, they are unstoppable.
